It comes with a full stage, sound and lighting rig and its own private bar, making it a flexible room for end of year and Christmas party events, hens & bucks parties, cocktail functions, private Melbourne cup events, corporate events, presentations, engagement parties, private shows or a private dinner room with a cabaret or comedy show (or any celebration that wants entertainment built in).

Good Room is our underground nightclub venue on Level 2 of the Potts Point Hotel. When we aren’t spinning house beats every Saturday, Good Room is Sydney’s unique private bar venue for your next Christmas work party, end of financial year party, product launch, birthday, after party, bucks or hens night that want a dancefloor and eclectic experience. On Saturdays, groups book tables with bottle service and priority entry; however, full and partial venue hire is available on other nights, allowing your dedicated events manager to tailor the venue to meet the requirements for your function for up to 250 people on any night.
What Good Room is Best For
Good Room is a private bar & nightclub venue available for function and event hire in Kings Cross: a dark, intimate 200m² space ideal for music events and cocktail functions for up to 250 people. The private function room can be reconfigured around whatever you are celebrating – whether that is a Christmas work party, an end of financial year function, a hens night, a bucks night or a milestone birthday.
Good Room built the room around a purpose-built sound system, with a central DJ booth sitting in the middle of the floor in Boiler Room style rather than pushed against a wall, so your crowd surrounds the music instead of always facing a stage.

Sweethearts Terraza is one of Sydney’s best restaurants for groups. Our Yucatan-inspired rooftop restaurant and bar in Potts Point is available for private and semi-private hire for up to 125 guests. A retractable roof, misters and heaters mean your event runs rain or shine. In addition to standard trading, we host birthdays, engagements, corporate lunches, end of year and Christmas parties, with Mexican share-style catering and beverage packages included.
